Accounts Assistant (Mandarin speaking)

We have a position for an Accounts Assistant who will be an integral part of the PTW team. Agencies need not apply.

This varied role will primarily support the finance team and requires an individual with a high ability to provide service and solutions to key stage holders. They are also required to conduct business ethically and with a professional conduct.

General duties will include but are not restricted to:

  • Undertaking full function of Accounts Payable for all PTW entities using wage easy.
  • Running and maintaining monthly payroll and superannuation payments.
  • Managing expense claims, petty cash, and Cabcharge account.
  • Maintaining an efficient file system.

Essential skills

  • Proficient use in Wage Easy payroll software
  • Minimum 1-2 years accounting experience with emphasis on performing payroll.
  • Experience in maintaining and updating employee Super payments.
  • High degree of computer literacy including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Financial management applications such as Deltek.
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin.

Beneficial skills

  • Experience in managing petty cash.
  • Experience in managing intercompany transfers.
  • Experience in managing expense claims.

Submissions Coordinator

PTW is a leading international design practice based in Sydney the CBD. We are a dynamic design firm and are looking for a motivated Marketing and Submissions Coordinator.

Working alongside the marketing and business development team, the successful applicant will be experienced in the coordination and delivery of fee proposals, EOI, RFT and presentation material. A key part of the role will be assisting directors in the coordination and implementation of PTW’s marketing and business development program and activities to raise its profile in the marketplace and ensure its continued client base as well as new business.

The successful candidate will have an enthusiastic, assertive and ‘can-do’ approach with high levels of initiative sense of urgency, creativity, problem solving, energy and enthusiasm. They will work on exciting, A-grade/tier one bids / projects.

The following tasks would be required:

  • Download all client documents and thoroughly read through requirements for each brief
  • Collate all relevant information and ensure it is easily available for bid management, including CVs, project information, company data, references etc.
  • Coordinate the preparation of all tenders and submissions Including content, delivery and production timelines regarding each submission
  • Liaise with the appropriate directors, architects and consultants and manage others’ time
  • Communicate roles and responsibilities to project team members for each brief
  • Prepare new graphic layouts for bid submissions, design boards, displays and PowerPoint presentations and insert relevant submission content.
  • Manage and collate all the submissions, electronic files and paper files (paper copy of all submissions)
  • Coordinate content, delivery and production timelines
  • Create PowerPoint presentations for Directors and for project teams when necessary
  • Social media support across all PTW social media platforms

The following skills are a must:

  • Skills A team player, helping out and multi-tasking on a variety of areas
  • Someone who can show initiative to push content and graphics to the highest grade.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication and attention to detail
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Ability to liaise with all levels of the practice including Directors and BDM’s to deliver campaign/bid strategy.
  • Communicate with external consultants as required
  • Submission programming and project coordination skills with the ability to work simultaneously on projects.
  • Ability to produce high quality work under pressure and deliver to deadline
  • Excellent graphics capability – Advanced use of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Good understanding of the design / lifestyle / construction industries
  • Previous experience within the building industry will be an advantage
