Grand World Resort

This project involves masterplanning, architecture and interior design of a 500 key condotel as well as 100 luxurious villas set in tropical surrounds along the coastline of Phu Quoc Island.

The design incorporates passive sustainable strategies as well as a harmonious response to the natural environment. The physical relationship between beach, dune, existing vegetation, and lagoon has guided the site arrangement to create a spatial flow in this attractive natural setting.

There is a balance between the architectural design and the site topography and respecting natural characteristics. Local materials were brought into the design of the villas and bungalows to mitigate the embodied energy associated with the construction of the project.
