Hotel Bergs

This hotel was created through joining together two buildings in the historic Bergs Bazaar complex in Riga, Latvia. The conversion to hotel use required extensive reconstruction and restoration of the 19th century building fabric.

The hotel contains 38 rooms and luxury suites that include balconies, kitchens, and executive office facilities for business travellers. Conference facilities provided in the hotel include a conference facility that can host receptions for 120 people located in a glassed-in mansard roof with views over the city.

The architecture and interior design of the hotel is restrained and sophisticated combining modern construction with historic building fabric and making extensive use of natural materials such as leather and linen furnishings, oak floors and joinery.
