Scape Kingsford

PTW is proud to announce its success in the recent design excellence competition run in collaboration with Scape and Randwick City Council for the Scape Kingsford student accommodation site. Scape has submitted four DA applications to build futuristic buildings on key opportunity sites in Kensington and Kingsford. These will support the growth of Randwick Health and Education precinct with the delivery of much needed rental residential accommodation.

“We are delighted to be working with Scape on this visionary project that is a key site in the transformation of the area,” says Simon Parsons, PTW Managing Director Asia Pacific.

Several sustainable elements are woven into the precincts’ fabric including 5 Star Green Star building designs supported by initiatives such as car share, e-bikes, rainwater reuse and highly landscaped zones. Rooftop gardens, relaxation zones, outdoor and indoor exercise zones and dining and entertaining pavilions and high-tech work and study zones will improve social cohesion.

“These developments will incorporate the very latest sustainable designs with award winning architects, designers and town planners all dedicated to emulating the best in urban regeneration,” says Stephen Gaitanos, Managing Director & Group CEO of Scape.
