PTW Sydney is thrilled to welcome Kathlyn Loseby to its leadership team!
A CEO with more than three decades of architectural experience, Kathlyn began her career as an architect at Foster+Partners and SOM. She soon realised lasting success in architecture requires balancing great design with strong commercial outcomes.
Focusing on the business of architecture, she earned an MBA (Executive) from UNSW and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She has held key leadership roles, most recently as CEO of the Architects Accreditation Council of Australia.
As NSW President of the Australian Institute of Architects, Kathlyn successfully championed architects as guardians of a high-quality built environment. She helped facilitate the introduction of the DBP Act, expanding the scope of services for architects in NSW alongside the Building Commissioner and key government figures.
As a respected architect with strong business insight, Kathlyn will work alongside our Managing Director for Asia Pacific and Sydney Practice Leader, Simon Parsons, to further enhance PTW's already strong reputation by driving greater efficiency, productivity, and a better business environment.
Kathlyn shared her enthusiasm: "PTW has great projects, design excellence, and exceptional people in Australia, Vietnam and China. Building on this strong brand, I look forward to working with Simon on key business improvements, and I am eager to help PTW enhance the future built environment by embracing AI, new construction methods, and expanding into new markets."
