We're excited to see One Sydney Harbour shortlisted for this year's Zak Awards for Excellence in Facade Design and Engineering within the Excellence in Façade Innovation - Project category.
One Sydney Harbour's climate responsive, crystalline façade comprises over 18,000 panels of low-iron ultra-clear glazing panels in an open cavity façade with wintergarden configurations. It provides automated sun-shading to remove heat and glare and user adjustable natural ventilation that is uncommon in high-rise residential buildings.
Congratulations to all those shortlisted and to the rest of our collaborators:
Design Architect: Renzo Piano Building Workshop (RPBW)
Australian Representative of RPBW: Adam Guernier Architecture
Concept to DA Executive Architect, Basement Architect: Lend Lease Integrated Solutions
Interior Design: State of Craft
Client: Lendlease.
We look forward to learning of the winner in September!
