In recent years Liu Hui has conducted extensive research on super-large-span buildings and mixed-use sports complexes. She has also led a series of research work related to sports building design, including the Beijing Olympic Stadium operational design reference report, and detailed economic and technical parameter analyses of sports buildings. She brings her rich experience in this sector, from concept through to construction, handover and post occupancy analysis to projects including: Xi'An Olympic Stadium, Xianyang Olympic Sports Centre Stadium, Danzhou Sports Centre and Ankang Sports Park & Phase I Gym.
