Bio
Payal brings a specialist scholarly understanding of sustainability to the design process, informed by her postgraduate studies and graduation design dissertation.
With her capability in the design and execution of educational and integrated community projects, Payal’s contribution as project architect to the Western Region schools projects included design conceptualisation; site, building and configuration option studies; reviews and consultations with community groups (PRG), NSW Government (DOE), experts and consultants.
Payal utilises physical model and software studies to study site conditions: ensure optimal interior daylight quality as well as passive heating and cooling; and uses 3D model simulations to analyse interior ventilation movement.
She has regular project documentation reviews meetings with technical consultants; reviews detailed construction drawings to ensure design intent consistency and co-ordinates team Revit co-ordination.
