PTW has a proud legacy as a founding member of the Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA) in 2002 and maintains an active, ongoing membership. As Australia’s authority on sustainable buildings, communities and cities, PTW is guided by the GBCA vision to lead the sustainable transformation of Australia’s built environment, create healthy, resilient and positive places for people and the natural environment.

PTW supports GBCA Green Star accreditation and Payal Chaudhari (a key member of the Education team) and Glenn Harper lead our sustainability practice, ensuring that sustainable design principles underpin our work. Payal also holds a Masters in Sustainable Environmental Design from the Architectural Association (AA) School of Architecture, London.

We believe that design must embody sustainability in its widest sense – social/cultural, economic and environmental. The thoughtful resolution of the unique and carefully researched aspects of place, program and context can create architecture that optimistically guides us towards our future: the advancement of technology, the protection of the environment and quality of life.

Our technology capability allows:

  • analysis of sustainability concept with 3D tools
  • production of images and videos for natural light and ventilation, thermal site impacts, acoustic performance impacts, right to light analysis, sightlines and view analysis.
