Constantine Exhibition Centre

PTW in joint venture with CCDI won the second stage of a competition in Algeria to design and document the first stage for the Exhibition Centre in Constantine. The project was for the Arab Arts festival held in Constantine, Algeria, during 2015.

The design programme required the building complex to be designed in two stages. The design was based on the triangle, a basic geometric element of Arabic patterns. The design placed 3 exhibition halls around a triangular space. The space acts an oasis, for relaxation and meetings for the complex. The entire façade structure and patterning was also based on the repetition of the triangle.
