The main building features a 250 key hotel facility with a convention centre, a sizeable sports centre, team building park, spa, a Swiss-themed village, as well as 121 terraced timeshare villas comprising one, two and three bedroom units.
All guest rooms have been designed to optimise expansive ocean views which are accessed via naturally ventilated single loaded corridors. The rooms feature unobstructed views across the beach and ocean with mountainous backdrop towards the west.
The overall curvilinear form of the hotel and its swimming pools were inspired by the fluidity of water and Vietnam’s colourful curvilinear rice terraces in the nearby southern highlands. The hotels’ relaxed form is reflective of the relaxed atmosphere of guests with their families as well as a functional outcome of analysis of view orientations.
The luxury spa area reflects the distinctive forms of local fishing boats to create a distinctive and relaxing spa experience.
PTW Architects were commissioned to provide full architectural design services, starting with the masterplan and workshopping with the owners and operators through concept design, design development, contract documentation and site attendance towards its successful opening and operations.
