Mascot Traction Substation - Sculptural Screen
PTW has designed a sculptural architectural screen around the new Mascot Traction Substation for Transport for NSW, as part of the Mascot Traction Substation Project.
The project will support an increased power supply for the number of services operating through the T8 Airport Line tunnel.
The lighting, landscaping, scale and transparency provided by the screen helps create a safe, pedestrian-friendly and activated urban link along this key arterial road near Sydney Airport.
